Women’s 100m: The Fastest in Diamond League History

From Dina Asher-Smith's impressive 10.93 in Stockholm this summer to Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce's Diamond Trophy winning 10.72 in Brussels in 2013, we have compiled footage of the 13 fastest women's 100m races in the history of the IAAF Diamond League.

Because we like round numbers, we’ve picked out the 13 fastest performances in the women’s 100m in the history of the Diamond League, and because we like you, we’ve compiled them all into a video.

Three of the top 13 times were recorded in 2018, as Diamond League fans were treated to an incredible level of competition between Ivorians Murielle Ahouré and Marie-Josée Ta Lou and newly crownd double European Champion Dina Asher-Smith.

Yet there is also plenty here for nostalgia junkies to get their teeth into. Who can forget the epic battles between Elaine Thompson and Dafne Schippers a few years ago? Both Schippers’ 10.92 in London in 2015 and Thompson’s Diamond Trophy winning 10.72 in Brussels a year later make the top 13.

Thompson’s is not the only title-winning 10.72 in the list, meanwhile, as Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce also makes it into the top five with her performance in Brussels in 2013.
