Wanda Diamond League – 2020 Calendar

The festive season is well and truly over, but there is plenty to look forward to in 2020, including a mouth-watering 15 Wanda Diamond League meetings. Here's a quick reminder of the dates you need to save between April and September.

The roaring twenties are officially underway and it is now less than 100 days until the Wanda Diamond League season kicks off in Doha.

With one extra meeting to account for, the series begins slightly earlier this year, with the world’s superstar athletes descending on the Qatari capital in mid-April rather than early May.

From there we head to China, with the traditional Shanghai meeting coming a week after the new, as of yet undisclosed Diamond League city is inaugurated.
Stockholm and Rome kick off the European section of the circuit in late May, before the Wanda Diamond League hits two more continents with trips to Rabat and Eugene.
From there, it’s plain-sailing around the old continent right up until the end-of-season showstopper.
Oslo and Paris host meetings in June, while London and Monaco once again provide the highlights in July.
August sees a return to Gateshead, which will host a Diamond League meeting for the first time since 2010.
Lausanne and Brussels then complete the 14-meeting Road To The Final, before all 24 Diamond Trophies are awarded in a three-day bonanza at the season finale in Zurich.
Excited? You should be.
