The Wanda Diamond League heads into the final bend this Friday with the penultimate meeting of the season in Brussels. As well as a return to action for several newly crowned world champions, the Allianz Memorial Van Damme is also the last chance for athletes to pick up points and qualify for the Wanda Diamond League Final in Eugene on September 16-17th.
Pole vault world record holder Mondo Duplantis and Jamaican 200m world champion Shericka Jackson are among those in action in Belgium, and they will be facing the media at the pre-meeting press conference this Thursday.
The press conference will be livestreamed on the Wanda Diamond League YouTube page from 14:00 local time (GMT+2) and the line-up is as follows:
Mondo Duplantis (pole vault, SWE)
Shericka Jackson (200m, JAM)
Yaroslava Mahuchikh (high jump, UKR)
Femke Bol (400m hurdles, NED)
