Stockholm: World and Olympic champion Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce confirmed

With just over two weeks until Stockholm BAUHAUS Athletics, it was announced that the world’s fastest woman is coming to Stockholm. Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is the reigning World and Olympic 100m champion, who has recorded three of the five fastest times in the world over the distance this year. The 100m at Stockholm BAUHAUS Athletics on Thursday 30 July will be a lightning quick finale to a star studded evening.

At this year’s Diamond League meetings the Jamaican has won in both Eugene (26 June) and Paris (4 July). Her time in Paris of 10.74 tops the world’s list and she has recorded three of the five fastest 100m times in 2015.

– Shelly-Ann leads the Diamond Race and I’m sure she’ll relish the chance to extend that lead with a victory at Stockholm BAUHAUS Athletics. The stadium record of 10.90 from 1994 is attainable and if she gets it she will receive a diamond, promised Meeting Director, Anders Tallgren.

Star sprinter, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, lists two Olympic and five World gold medals on her resumé.  She is the regular anchor in the Jamaican sprint relay team and outside of athletics a UNICEF ambassador.
