The world’s finest athletes continue their campaigns to qualify for a place in the Wanda Diamond League Final on Friday at the third leg of athletics’ premier one-day series in Florence.
As the Pietro Mennea Golden Gala returns to the city of the Renaissance for the second time in three years, the likes of 100m world champion Fred Kerley, 400m hurdles Diamond League champion Femke Bol and long jump Olympic champion Malaika Mihambo will appear at the press conference on Thursday.
The press conference will be livestreamed on the Wanda Diamond League YouTube page from 11.00 local time (GMT+2), and the line-up is as follows:
11:00 – Malaika Mihambo (GER, long jump), Larissa Iapichino (ITA, long jump), Joe Kovacs (USA, shot put), Zane Weir (ITA, shot put)
11:45 – Faith Kipyegon (KEN, 1500m), Femke Bol (NED, 400m hurdles), Grant Holloway (USA, 110m hurdles), Dina Asher-Smith (GBR, 100m)
12:30 – Fred Kerley (USA, 100m), Akani Simbine (RSA, 100m)
