Sprints - What's At Stake In Birmingham And Paris?
With just two more meetings to go until the IAAF Diamond League Finals are upon us, the next few weeks will decide which athletes make the final cut and earn themselves a shot at the Diamond Trophy in either Zurich or Brussels at the end of the season. Some are already qualified, while others still need to pick up more points in Paris and Birmingham to secure their final spot.

Birmingham: Harrison Joined By Williams in Spearheading 100m Hudles
World record holder and reigning world indoor champion Kendra Harrison (USA) will be facing 2015 World Champion and the current world leader Danielle Williams (JAM) as part of a world-class 100m hurdles field assembled for the Müller Grand Prix Birmingham on Sunday 18 August.

Paris: Warholm And Thompson Set For Paris Return
World 400m hurdles champion Karsten Warholm and double Olympic champion Elaine Thompson have been added as headline acts for the Meeting de Paris, the 12th stop of the 2019 IAAF Diamond League, on 24 August.

Paris: Claye-Taylor, The Sky’s The Limit In Their Triple Jump Duel
The duel between Christian Taylor, who boasts the finest track record in the history of the modern triple jump competition with two Olympic titles and three gold medals in the Worlds, and Will Claye, his eternal shadow, is sure to tickle your taste buds. The Herculis Monaco meeting already brought them back together in the IAAF Diamond League, on 12 July 2019, with victory going to the former thanks to a jump of 17.82m, or seven centimetres further than his American compatriot.

Road To The Final So Far: Part One
The IAAF Diamond League will enter the climactic phase of the season when the Road to the Final resumes in Birmingham on August 18, but before that, it is time to look back at what has happened so far in 2019. Brussels: The outstanding Jakob
Belgium has the Borlée brothers, Norway has the brothers Ingebrigtsen. Their names are not Kevin, Jonathan and Dylan but Henrik, Filip and Jakob. And they are no quartermilers, but middle distance runners. In the 1500 meters the hardly 18 year old Jakob Ingebrigtsen has already secured his ticket for the IAAF Diamond League Final at the AG Memorial Van Damme in Brussels.

Zurich: Three world record holders already confirmed
The first top athletes have confirmed their participation at the IAAF Diamond League Final at Weltklasse Zürich. Among them are three current world record holders. Not all qualifications have been completed yet and most of the top stars will confirm their participation during the next weeks.
