Vote: Best Moments of 2021

Faith Kipyegon? Elaine Thompson-Herah? Karsten Warholm? Vote for your favourite moments of a sparkling 2021 Wanda Diamond League season via our social media polls.

The last Wanda Diamond League season produced some unforgettable performances in 2021 as the world’s finest athletes battled it out for the Diamond Trophy for the first time in two years.

As the year comes to an end, we are running a series of social media polls to decide which was your favourite Wanda Diamond League moment of 2021.

In the first four polls, you can vote for your favourite moment in the distance events, sprints and hurdles, jumps and throws respectively. The winners of each poll will face off in the semi-final and final a week later.

Whether it’s Karsten Warholm’s Oslo world record, Thompson-Herah’s Eugene heroics or one of the many series records broken this season, make sure you vote for your favourite performance via the blog below.

Quarter-final 4: Throws

Daniel Ståhl broke his own men’s discus Diamond League record with an impressive 69.31m effort in Brussels last September, before going on to defend his Diamond Trophy in Zurich a week later.

Five-time Diamond League champion Barbora Spotakova showed she’s still got it even at 40 years old as she claimed her 21st career Diamond League win in the women’s javelin Monaco.

Olympic champion in the men’s shot put already, Ryan Crouser finally added the Diamond Trophy to his impressive array of titles this year. The highlight of his dominant season was breaking two Diamond League records in a single competition in Eugene.
